  This was by far the best wine tasting we have done for a long time. The wines were excellent, the pace was just right - no long delays, but enough time to appreciate the pours. The small bites accompanying each pour were perfect compliments and the explanations about each wine and the tase effect from the paring were done well. On top of all that, this was the cheapest tasting on this trip @ $20/person, and the wines were reasonably priced.

  Wow. This was an event that made our visit. We had such a great time -- wines were interesting and very good. George's explanations of wine and food pairings were so informative...and I have been on a LOT of wine and food tours. Williamson really understands hosting - they paced the event to suit our group, but kept things moving. Really a trip highlight.

  Elevate your experience with the food pairing. Makes everything pop in your mouth. They are friendly, knowledgeable and gave us more learning it was our anniversary. By far my favorite experience in Healdsburg. We also met Mrs Williamson and she’s delightful!

  Fantastic wine pairing, very knowledgeable staff and very nice, affordable wines. Ended up joining the wine club and cannot wait for our first shipment! And leave room in your suitcase for the jams and salts! you will want to bring several home.

  We did the food pairing to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. George was a terrific host and we learned a lot with the pairing of wine with foods. He informed us of tons of recipes on their website and we can't wait to try them. I definitely recommend trying this. It was $20 per person but refunded if you buy a bottle for each person tasting. We got our $40 back! Lol Visit Healdsburg s it it a quaint little town with stores and wineries. Thanks George!

  Our trip was a short visit and us not being huge drinkers, we didn’t want to spend an entire afternoon or day at a winery. Some of our hotel staff recommended the Williamson wine club of which they were members. I made the reservation on Yelp for the 90-minute food AND wine tasting with a time slot available at Noon following day. Williamson thoughtfully called us ahead of time to inquire whether we had any allergies and to verify we knew the address of tasting. They served us 4 small plates each perfectly paired with 4 different wines. Started with a shrimp taco, followed by a beet salad with truffle salt, then risotto with meat, finishing with a chocolate mousse. With each plate the server would first pour some wine for us to taste, pour some more, then bring out the dish and pour more (our glasses were never empty for long and we were given very generous amounts). She thoroughly explained how each wine was as made, the spices used in the food, advised how to use the wines to enhance the food, and answered questions knowledgeably. Bonus - the recipes can be found on their website! The wines we tasted were reasonably priced ($30-$50) to purchase a bottle. Great place if looking to have special experience for a light lunch. It is NOT a restaurant so reservations are recommended as we did see a couple people turned away. Understandable as the servers are so knowledgeable and attentive, a restaurant could not do this experience. If have the chance, we will do again!

  Excellent wines paired with wonderful foods. Awesome experience with friends. And the owner (Dawn) of the vineyards came out to say hello.

  The wine & food pairing experience at Williamson was highly recommended by a friend, and so I had extremely high hopes for it! Unfortunately, our visit did not live up to the hype. The service was adequate, not great; there's not much in the way of ambiance, and the wines were just average. If you're in Healdsburg, I would suggest Stephen & Walker for a better wine tasting experience. For food & wine parings, I'd recommend St. Francis near Sonoma.

  The food and wines were excellent. The host seemed unprepared and read from a script. We were hoping for an explanation of how the food parings gave the wines their flavor. We were basically told about what we were eating and what the wine was.
